Kwosa Mayor is a global Afrobeats artist currently based in Toronto, Canada. Blending his African roots with rich Multicultural influences, Kwosa’s sound captures the spirit of a new generation bold, versatile, and unapologetically authentic.
My fans have been a fantastic source of inspiration and encouragement throughout my career. I have shared their own talents, their own stories, and their own dreams. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best artists in the industry, and I have been able to create a unique and powerful sound that has been successful in the music industry. Fans can expect an exhilarating listening experience filled with infectious beats, soulful melodies, and lyrics that tell stories of love, life, and celebration.
He began his music journey in 2020 with the release of his debut single Adora. Since then, he’s released two EPs Magic and Rhythm 2 and I Dey Reason along with a full-length album, Sounds from the South. His music reflects a seamless fusion of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and international sounds, influenced by his time creating and performing across South Asia, including in the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.
“Magic & Rhythm II” is a testament to Kwosa Mayor’s artistry and his ability to push boundaries within the music industry. The EP showcases his passion for music and growth as an artist while staying true to his signature sound. With its diverse range of tracks and captivating collaborations, “Magic & Rhythm II” is set to leave a lasting impression on music enthusiasts worldwide. The project kicks off with “Grateful,” a powerful collaboration with Jacob Hunter that sets the tone for the entire Ep. The track showcases Jacob Hunter’s ability to blend soulful vocals with a captivating rhythm, creating a mesmerizing fusion of sounds. “Closer” featuring Greamar takes listeners on a sonic journey, combining infectious beats with introspective lyrics. The chemistry between Kwosa Mayor and Greamar is palpable, resulting in an irresistible blend of musical talent everytime they make music together.

Kwosa is now preparing for the release of his third EP a bold, globally-influenced body of work featuring a Toronto artist and vocals in Hindi. The project aims to position him firmly in the Canadian scene, while expanding his reach across global audiences.
Recent milestones include a live DJ set in Toronto connected to his Amapiano-inspired project, visual releases for Closer and Indiana, and the start of new studio recordings and visual Rollouts.
